Happy Mitzvah Monday, the day we shout out the mini mensches around CJP for performing gemilut chasadim, acts of loving kindness. Today we are shouting out one of our half-day 2s students who shared her gloves with a friend on the playground. She did not want them, but happily shared hers with a friend who expressed that they had cold hands. Keep up the good mensching! ... See MoreSee Less

Every week at CJP our teachers make Shabbat special for their students. Some plan activities so kids can practice kneading dough to make challah, and all teaches give students the opportunity to give tzedakah to help others. Even snack time is special, as some teachers bring in flowers and a fancy tablecloth for kids to enjoy their challah and grape juice! We hope that you and your family enjoy a meaningful Shabbat celebration at home tonight. #shabbatshalom ... See MoreSee Less

The Kehillah Class have watched and nurtured their plant as they model the Jewish value of ahavat habriyot, love of nature. #reggioinspired #earlychildeducation #jewishlearning🔯 ... See MoreSee Less

Over the last week many of our students participated in a Tu B'Shevat seder where they sampled fruits. They shared the experience with one another as some of the fruits were new to them, and they made a connection to Israel as they learned about the seven species. Our younger students even partook in a birthday treat for the tree's birthday - a mini oreo! #tubshvat #Israel #earlychildhoodeducation ... See MoreSee Less
